Unbridled was my first motor yacht of the show. She wasn’t at all what I was expecting. Although I’d not seen her previously the refit she has undergone has converted her interior to a more modern feel.
The exterior dining table at the rear of the yacht was laid ready for lunch, it looked fantastic with a sea theme using a turquoise sequin runner down the middle, sea shells and fairy lights positioned down it.
Heading into the saloon there was a sofa on one side and leather armchairs opposite then in front was a slightly curved sofa in front of the tv. Heading into the accommodation the Cabins were all spacious, carrying through the dark wood from the saloon the white bedsheets made the cabins bright and appealing. The master cabin even has its own wine fridge! The bathrooms are all modern and refitted.
The galley is a lovely open space with seating area and they told me the guests often join the chef for a coffee and chat and have been known to eat in there with him working. I was treated to a tasty feta and mushroom frittata so when I received an invite to return for breakfast I wasn’t going to pass it up.
Heading up onto the top deck/fly bridge, again the new upholstery looked great, with modern grey helm seats followed by a sofa seating area, bar and small dining area in the shade and then into the sunshine for sun beds and a jacuzzi.
Coming back down and to the front of the yacht there is another sun cushioned area with canopy fixed above, perfect for lazing the day away.
UnBridled also has dive equipment and love to go on diving trips, so if diving is for you then so is UnBridled.
The following morning I returned for breakfast. We headed inside where the bar was lined with a breakfast buffet; a large fresh fruit salad, vegan banana muffins, blueberry cinnamon muffins, sausages, crispy bacon, bread rolls, cheeses and meat. Bloody Mary and cappuccinos were served outside at the aft dining table, redecorated with pearls and stars in martini glasses and gift boxes. Having helped myself to the buffet, I was then surprised to be offered further breakfast options; a cheese, bacon & egg waffle sandwich or French toast, I couldn’t resist and about 4 of us all opted for the waffle sandwich. I was not disappointed!
The crew on Unbridled were very friendly and enjoyable to be around, a week onboard with them would be delightful.
