David passes his BMET & MEI

We are pleased to share the successes of our technical services manager, David, in passing both his MEI (Marine Electronics Installer) and BMET (British Marine Electrical Training) courses today!

The British Marine Electrical and Electronics Association (BMEEA) is made up of manufacturers and waterside dealers who provide advice, sales, installation and service of electronic and electrical equipment. Courses are provided by the association to provide the latest product information and installation techniques to ensure the highest standards of the BMEEA Code of Practice. 

BMET is an industry recognised national qualification developed by the Association, specifically for the installation and service of electrical equipment, whilst the MEI qualification provides and ensures working knowledge of NMEA’s Installation Standard. 

David is responsible for providing technical support to our fleet of managed yachts and these qualifications will further enrich his skillset within the field.
