LONDON BOAT SHOW 2018

The new year kicked off with the “new-look” 2018 London Boat Show, at the ExCel exhibition centre in London.  The re-defined show ran for 5 days, from 10th – 14th January, attracting more than 52,000 visitors.   New features proved popular, including the Lock and Waterside Pub & Beach club where visitors were able to try some of the latest water sports activities.  A host of sailing personalities appeared on stage at the Legends and Practical Boat Owner Theatres, including; Tom Cunliffe, Alex Thompson & YouTube stars; Sailing La Vagabonde, amongst numerous others, drawing large crowds. Watch the video   The diYachting stand also had a new look for the show, our Southend-on-Sea inspired beach huts, complete with a local Seagull proved very popular with visitors!  We were pleased to able to catch up with many clients, colleagues and friends throughout the 5 days.

We launched two new yachts to the charter selection and Lizzie had an unprecedented number of charter enquiries.  We were thrilled to introduce new clients to the prospect of a luxury crewed charter holiday.   Becky met a number of new crews and the show was the perfect platform for owner/crew interviews for the upcoming season.   We also had a number of clients interested in our management services and were really pleased with the level of interest at the show.  We will certainly be returning in 2019!
