WE WELCOME BRAND NEW JEANNEAU 64, LUNOUS TO THE DIYACHTING FLEET
The latest addition to the diYachting fleet, Lunous has just arrived in the Med for her first season chartering from Corfu.
Launching a new yacht is always exciting, especially so when there’s a full van of equipment and new toys to get onboard! diYachting’s Matt and David met our new Jeanneau 64, Lunous and her crew down in the South of France to do the MCA safety install and waved her off on her maiden voyage down to Corfu.
The crew had a trouble-free delivery, even managing a bit of sight-seeing along the way as they came past the volcanic Aeolian islands off of Sicily. They arrived in the Ionian to meet with her sister-ship Argentous, Aurous, Lagoon 52 and Jeannous, Jeanneau 57 for crew training and the very exciting new yacht photoshoot with photographer David Clapp.

Lizzie and Becky flew out for the photoshoot, to meet with this year’s crews and had a brilliant few days sailing around this beautiful part of the Med. The azure waters and quaint villages are unlike anywhere else in the world and it’s always a pleasure to be back in the Ionian.
Lunous is the 5th Jeanneau 64 to join the diYachting fleet and is available for charter this year from Corfu. She is absolutely stunning and features the new style transom giving sleeker lines and additional deck space at the rear. She has been kitted out with all the mod-cons for a luxurious and comfortable holiday without any compromise on sailing performance.
The Jeanneau 64 is a collaboration between superyacht designers; Philippe Briand and Andrew Winch and built by Jeanneau to an impressive standard. Classed by many as a true “mini superyacht” and a real success story for both owners and charter clients alike. This is the perfect setting to experience the comfort and service you’d expect on a superyacht charter without becoming too detached from the sailing, we absolutely love the Jeanneau 64!
Sergei and Karolina are thrilled to be joining Lunous for her first season. Their sailing careers have seen them work in Greece, Turkey and Croatia over the last few years and they are very much looking forward to exploring the Northern Ionian this year and welcoming their first guests onboard.
It was a pleasure to see all the crews working out in Corfu this year and we’re confident they are all going to have a fantastic season looking after their charter guests.
We’ve included a few highlights from the photoshoot below. Lunous really is a beautiful yacht and with very limited weeks remaining, make sure to contact Lizzie as soon as possible to secure your week onboard.
